How does our auction work?
In aanvulling van onze vaste webshopprijzen bieden wij ook regelmatig kavels aan via een online auction. Op deze pagina leggen we uit hoe het bieden werkt en waar u als gebruiker rekening mee moet houden. Deze veilingen zijn nu nog in een testfase en zullen te zijner tijd worden geactiveerd en gepromoot.
1. Account and login
To be able to bid, you need a account needed on our website.
- Don't have an account yet? You can sign up during the ordering process or in advance via the registration page.
- You must logged in are to be able to make an offer.
An account is required to bid on our auction lots. You can create an account or log in via our My Account page: https://collectiehub.nl/my-account/. After logging in, you can return to the Current Auctions page and bid directly on the lots that interest you.
2. Auction lots and description
Each auction item is treated as lot offered, with a unique number and description.
- In the description, you will find information about the type of collection (e.g., stamps, coins, antique silver), the number of albums/boxes, the general condition, and any special features.
- We strive to describe and photograph the lots as accurately as possible, but a lot is always sold. as seen (“as is”).
3. Bidding on a lot
For every plot, you will see:
- the starting price;
- the bidding increment (minimal increase);
- the end date and time of the auction.
To bid:
- Log in to your account;
- Go to the plot page;
- Enter your bid (at least the current bid plus the indicated bidding increment);
- Confirm your bid.
You receive email notifications (depending on your settings) when you place a bid or are outbid.
4. End of the auction and winning bidder
The auction closes automatically on the indicated date and time.
- At that moment, the highest bidder the winner of the lot, provided that any minimum price (reservation price) has been reached.
- The winning bidder receives an email confirming the winning bid and information regarding payment and further processing.
5. Payment and processing
- Payment is processed via our usual channels. webshop checkout and payment methods.
- You must pay for the winning lot within the specified period.
- For larger or valuable plots, pick up by appointment be possible.
- For shipping, we state the shipping costs and shipping method per lot or in our general information.
6. Binding bids
- A submitted bid is binding.
- Only place a bid if you actually intend to purchase the lot and can pay within the payment period.
- In the event of repeated non-compliance with bids, we reserve the right to block accounts and refuse bids.
